Biography
Minister Jody McCalla is a Worship Leader “extra-ordinaire” who loves the Lord with all her heart, mind soul and body both on the stage, and off the stage.
Minister Jody is currently the Praise and Worship Pastor at The Fountain Church, Miami Gardens, FL and formerly Minister of Music at "The Potter's House" in Jacksonville Florida, where she was ordained to minister both in the word, and in song by Bishop Vaughn McLaughlin in April of 2009.
Minister Jody has appeared on TBN's Praise The Lord Television Program, on several occasions.
Minister Jody McCalla is indeed a true worshipper, not only by what she sings but by what she lives.
This anointed Minister of the gospel is gifted by God with the ability to take any worship song and transform it into something so powerful, that Jesus becomes so irresistible to the unsaved, many of whom have ran to the altar, surrendering their lives to Christ while she ministers.
The anointing that Minister Jody has graciously and gracefully received from the Holy One is guaranteed to take even the most spiritual of the spiritual, into a new dimension in Christ like never before.
Minister Jody always teaches that worship is not a license to lie to God just because you are singing, but worship should always be your lifestyle, twenty four hours a day.
Minister Jody McCalla, Founder and President of True Worshippers Worldwide alongside her husband Al McCalla and son Joal McCalla, collectively recognized the voice of the Lord and answered the call, as God breathed and gave life to a dynamic vision, which was then birthed in April of 2007 in beautiful Kingston, Jamaica.
True Worshippers Worldwide is a ministry that brings all churches, in any given city, anywhere in the world, together to worship in one accord, regardless of denomination, for a worship experience that can only be compared to the upper room experience in the book of Acts.
One Bishop recently described the, True Worshippers experience, as “being taken to heaven and back” literally.
True Worshippers Worldwide was firmly established with the assistance of World renowned worship leaders such as, William Murphy, William McDowell, Mary Allessi, Martha Munuzzi, Donnie McClurkin, Vicki Yohe, Alvin Slaughter, Helen Baylor, Micah Stampley and a host of others. All of these award-winning artists personally traveled to Kingston, Jamaica, some on several occasions to assist Minister Jody in firmly securing the foundation of this God-breathed international ministry.
Prior to the conception of True Worshippers Minister Jody McCalla served as the choir director and worship leader at two of the largest and prominent churches in Jamaica. First at Portmore New Testament Church of God where she grew up and served as Choir Director, and Psalmist under the mentorship of Bishop Dr. W.A. Blair.
After getting married to her wonderful husband Al McCalla, Minister Jody humbly decided to attend her husband’s church, Family Church On The Rock, where with God’s grace, she maintained her position as Music Minister/Director, Worship Leader and Choir Director for eight years under the leadership of Apostle David Keane.
Minister Jody has shared platforms with most of the major artistes in the gospel industry including but not limited to, Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Kurt Carr, Tremaine Hawkins, Ron Kennoly, CeCe Winnans, Alvin Slaughter, Donnie McClurkin, Martha Munuzzi, Mary Alessi, William Murphy, William McDowell, Helen Baylor, Vicki Yohe, Micah stampley, etc. etc.
Minister Jody McCalla has also been the Worship Leader/Psalmist in many dynamic conferences with Ministers of the Gospel such as Pastor Jackie McCullough, Dr. Juanita Bynum, Pastor Henry Fernandez, Pastor Paula White, Dr. Cindy Trimm and Pastor Donnie McClurkin, Myles Munroe just to name a few.
In January of 2009, Minister Jody McCalla launched True Worshippers Worldwide in the United States, at the Potter’s House in Jacksonville Florida.
Over four thousand persons were in attendance at this launch, including Pastors, worship leaders, choir members and other worshippers invited from over one hundred churches, of all different denominational backgrounds.
Minister Jody McCalla and the ministry of True Worshippers is committed to playing an integral part in fulfilling the final prayer, will and testament of Jesus Christ to unite the Body of Christ into one, so that the world will believe and accept that Jesus is the sent one, and be saved.
